Mx. Yaffa is a Palestinian trans author, poet, educator and advocate. They will present their books, read and there will be room for a Q&A and book signings.
You will be able to purchase their books on site.
This event is also a fundraiser for trans* Palestinians so bring cash and donate to the cause if you can.
This event will be a trans* centred space, but open for everyone, regardless of age or gender identity. We kindly ask you to respect the space – any form of racism, transphobia, discrimination or other disrespect will not be tolerated!
This meetup is a masked (covid concious) meetup! We encourage you to bring your own mask since we buy everything from our budget which is limited. If you can’t wear a mask for medical reasons you will be able to attend!
This event takes place in the AKN room, located on the mezzanine level of Staircase F at WUK. Accessible entry is available via Staircase G.
As always, smoking is permitted only outdoors in areas B and C.
If you are unable to attend, please let us know or cancel your registration using the link provided in your registration confirmation email.
